Alfreton Golf Club

Played at Alfreton recently and have to say thatI was very impressed with the quality of the course. It is not the longest course but the quirky nature of the places (only 11 holes) it adds to the character. It is certainly not easy and needs some careful thought about course management. The greens were very true if a little slower than the courses I usually play but overall you cannot fault it and the off course facilities and reception at the club were first class. Well worth the green fee

great course!!!! good greens good conditions the faiways are tight narrow and challenging the course will test accuracy and approach shots the clubhouse is well managed and the food is excellent. some challenging par 3's as well overall good course! a must to play in derbyshire.

This is a wooded parkland course with beautiful views over the Amber Valley.The fairways are narrow,so the driver stays in the bag.The greens are small but excellent.
