I am a new member here having left another more distant club last year. there are many changes being made to the course which will make it tougher, but until they settle dwon [summer 06] I would not recomend it for a visitor expecting the course to be in its usual well-kept state. A long hitter will not find the course over challenging, but the size of the greens puts a real emphasis on aproach play. The greens are usually true and fair. In short this is a good place for the higher handicap golfer to enjoy a day out, the facilities in the clubhouse / miners welfare are of an acceptable level, and a welcome is guaranteed.
