We played this course last year as a Society and this is possibly the most unfriendly reception we have had the misfortune to receive. The members we encountered seemed to think that they were doing us a favour by allowing us to pay them good money to play their course. A pair of members were playing a match and were so rude and obnoxious to us that I felt like just walking off. When we tried to put some money behind their bar they were equally unfriendly so we now play Ratho Park instead - a much nicer course with members who are proud that societies are keen to play their course.
Unless a full or senior member at bellshill you are frowned upon, great course, well kept but let down by some of its members, mainly the ones whom should be most responsible.
I've been a member of Bellshill golf club for six years through Junior, Juvenile and now moving on to full adult membership. The promotion of golf to all members and capabilities is second to none. The course is wonderfully kept by a hard working greenstaff and provides an excellent and different challenge every time you play a round. The only downfalls in my opinion are the lack of adequate practice facilities and low C.S.S faced by juniors which i feel holds many of our boys back.
the golf course is brilliant ecpecillay the 15 hole
having played such a wonderful course with its testing greens and park land situation, I would thouroughly reccomend this challenge to any golfers. The picturesque 17th, the testing 9th and the impossible carry from the back tee at the 3rd makes this simply one of the most endearing golf challenges in Lanarkshire. Recently the new captain, Alec Megan and Vice Captain, Kevin Harper have been encouraging golfers, young and old who are not members of golf clubs to use bunkered tickets and the reduced week day tickets to play this testing course. I would thoroughly reccomend any visitors to Lanarkshire golfing, try this first. Darkie Watters (the 3rd junior)

A LOVELY COURSE WITH SPLENDID FAIRWAYS,ATOUGH BUT FAIR CHALLENGE,I ALSO FOUND THE MEMBERS OK
The Seniors Have An Extremely Snobbish Manner And Have Very Limited Patience With Visitors, female Members And Especially Juniors. I Would Advise Any Juniors Concidering Membership To Think Twice
