I played the Brownlow course yesterday and was extremely impressed. The course is well maintained, the fairways are wide, the greens are large and the rough is extremely forgiving. Whilst the course had very little in the way of any significant hazards, local knowledge is beneficial on a number of the holes are there are a couple of blind water hazards and my four ball did struggle to identify the direction of the green as again there were a few holes with blind dog legs; unfortunately, due to the scorecard consisting of 3 x 9 holes there's insufficient room to have a 27 hole layout. The course is perfect for the medium to high handicap golfer and the better golfer may not find this course particularly challenging; but if nothing else the experienced golfer can still enjoy the picturesque location and the deer strewn fairways.

Our Society Day on the Ist October 2003 was a great success. Everyone in the party was impressed with the course, the catering and in particualr your strter. The course is excellent, in excellent condition and very picturesque. I personally enjoyed holes 1-9 and 19-27 but every hole and green, given the recent summer was in excellent condition. We shall definitely be back as a society and I will be back shortly with some friends in the near future. Don Redpath

The whole 27 holes are excellent and the pride of the club in its greens is fully justified. I played on a club day out with 40 other of our members all of whom had an excellent day. The clubhouse facilities were good and the members friendly. For a first class golf day out I would strongly recommend it.

Great course, only played the standard eighteen. Don't waste your time with Belton Woods, this place is ten times better, and half the price. Pretty little lakes aren't the be all and end all of good golf courses.

A party of 12 of us visited the club last year and would recommend the course to all classes of player. We played all 27 holes after the wettest night of the year and were amazed at the dryness of the course. The fairways and greens were in top condition and the scenery around the course was also second to none. We also played at Belton Woods and if you had to make a choice between the two I would recommend that you play Belton Park.
