We played this course on July 24th, 2002, in glorious weather. It's a treat for those who prefer to see where they need to play their shots and a fair test of golf for all abilities. The course was in immaculate condition. The 14th and 15th holes provide two tests of nerve, the former requiring a drive across the cliff tops. Very friendly members and staff - we went back for another round the next day!

This is a good course for visitors - long enough to be challenging, but without blind holes and not especially requiring "local knowledge". The fairways are open and the rough is short enough for you to find your ball, but lush enough to stop it and make you work!. The front 9 are fairly hilly with wonderful views, the 2nd being a noteable long par 4. The back nine more level but with challenging holes, especially the par 3 15th. The course is attractive and well maintained, and the greens are usually good as they mostly avoid frost and don't get over-played. Restaurant facilities are fairly basic but good quality.
