Bramall Park Golf Club

Played it today and was the best course I've played this year. Greens were in excellent condition, fast but true. A good challenge but also an open parkland course that is forgiving for the less accurate golfer (me). Members and staff were very welcoming and friendly and the food in the bar was good as well. Will be back I hope

This course is in excellent condition. The greens were understandable on the slow side after heavy rain the day before. Nevertheless, they were not easy to read. The fairways are generous in width and ideal for society golf. There are two interesting par 5s with severe sloping fairways which require accurately placed tee shots. On the day I felt the bunkers were not quite up to scratch. This apart, I had an enjoyable day and would highly recommend this course. The clubhouse, food and service was excellent.

Pleasant well kept course. Lots of mature trees. No water but a ditch comes into play on several holes. Good clubhouse.
