Course and staff well represented. A very good course full of interest but with one or two mickey mouse holes - like the horseshoe par5 the sixth -.

Just got back from a weekend on the east coast and had the pleasure of playing this course. Enjoyed playing every hole even though the greens had been recently spiked the were still fast and fairly true. I have never played any other courses on the east coast but if this is the standard I will be certainly making another trip. Certainly don't know what Keith was talking about in the last review the course and fairways were in great condition even after a week of rain not a weed in sight.

Very disapointing, was told this was a top notch course.No.Average at best .Tees were tatty,Greens were nice but very wet (sunny day),as for the fairways I can honestly say they were the worst I ever played, barely a blade of grass all weeds.

Played Belvedere all day on a Saturday and it was a real pleasure. Not at all busy really for a Saturday and we were never bothered on either round-the general atmosphere seems relaxed and welcoming. There had been plenty of rain the week of our visit therefore the course was soft and boggy in places but the greens had held up well and were running true if a little patchy in some places. Despite the course being by the coast it is very much a parkland with plenty of trees lining the fairways, you wouldnt know you were by the coast apart from the 16th hole where you can get a view of the sea over a boundary fence. Some good variety holes where you never seem to have a straightforward approach shot into the green-always some bunker to fly over or ridge to carry. Its a good fair challenge that rewards good tactical golf therefore holding your interest all the way around. The staff and pro were welcoming and we thoroughly enjoyed our 36 holes round here-will be heading back in the summer when i can imagine the course is in excellent condition.

played belverde today 21/05/07 very nice course challenging in parts and other parts plenty of room to open your shoulders,a few ponds on and they have used them very well and brought em into play,1st 2 holes have bit ov water on a nice steady start,4th hole good hole drive to a ditch then a good iron shot into the green,5 th easy par dog leg to a raised green which i scored a 7 on after been a1 with my tee shot,6th really nice dog leg par5,9th very tough par 3 220yrds,12th stroke index 1 hole but i did think they were tougher holes on course ,13th par 4 pond on the right to catch the slicers,14th very tough par5 uphill allway and out ov bounds all way up on the right and day we played was head wind,my only slight complaint was greens very good condtion but they were abit inconsistant 1 fast 1 slow but they had been working on them, nice club house with nice food £16 each on a 241 but that was for day rate, well worth a visit if in the area,

PLAYED THIS COURSE WHILST ON HOLIDAY IN NEARBY FILEY ON MONDAY 14/07/03. WONDERFUL COURSE, OF WHICH THE 5 OR 6 MEMBERS WHICH WE SPOKE TO WERE ALL REALLY FRIENDLY. WELL WORTH THE £12 GREEN FEE WHICH I PAYED DUE TO THE FACT ME BEING A JUNIOR.
