Bryn Meadows Golf Club

I am a 17-handicapper and played early on a Sunday a.m. after staying the previous night at the attached hotel. Overall I would describe this as an average course - the best holes are the first short hole (4th?), the 11th (a long downhill par 5, with the green across a green) and the 12th (cheeky dogleg). Overall I played just about to handicap, but feel I could have done a lot better - it is not a particularly difficult course. If I was in the area again I would not rule out playing the course again, but probably wouldn't rush back. PS The attached hotel was OK, with odd quirks - e.g. a TV in each bathroom (ours didn't work) and a jacuzzi in the pool area with a very hot temperature.

Have just retuned home from a week end at Bryn Meadows.The greens are in good condition fairways could do with a bit of work,not a long course but a good test of golf,as is pretty tight.All in all good value for money.

This course really is a treat to play. It is a great test of golf for players of all abilities, and it is always in excellent condition. A warm welcome is guranteed, by staff and other players alike. Excellent.
