4 reviews of Burnfield House Golf Course

Played this in a touring 4 ball when all other courses in the area were closed due to the weather and I'm glad we did. Great little challenge perfect greens and as a previous reviewer said, the par 4's play longer than expected. When back fromt eh US we will if this is on our travels definately play again.

Lovely little gem of a course. Some of the best greens I've played on (golfers remember to repair your pitchmarks!!). Excellent condition for the time of year considering the weather, and some amazing views across Belfast Lough, definately will return.

I play off a 20 Handicap and have played the course a couple of times. My first impressions weren't great, because the course was fairly hard in comparison to my local course. Fairways are fairly reasonable however holes play an awful lot longer than they look and watch out for one or two awkward hole positions! You really need to hit the ball straight and long to shoot a good round!

One of Co Antrim's best kept secrets in terms of a great 9 hole parkland golf course. What looks an easy course is a good test for the club golfer with an official handicap who thinks they are going to shoot a great score. Well manicured course with small greens in very good shape and fairways that are narrow with small trees to catch any wayward shots off the tee. Restaurant facilities also very good and a warm welcome from the staff with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for those who like to spend some time at the 19th
