Castro Marim Golf & Country Club

Played as part of a tour [Benamor, Quinta do Vale, Quinta da Ria, Costa Esuri, El Rompido]] in May 2010. The set up consits of 3 x 9 holes and we played the Atlantic & Guadiana combination. I believe that the Atlantic is the newest part of the complex and we all found this to be a tough test of golf. The back 9 proved to be easier [or perhaps the hangovers had cleared by then] Fairways and greens were in fantastic condition throughout. As always an excellent clubhouse with good service and prices that were reasonable. As with all courses [and Tavira itself] did not get the feeling that we were there only to be "mugged" as you do in Vilamoura. People are very friendly, service is always good and prices approx half that of the more usual golfer traps.
