We played this course on our annual golf trip, 1 of 8 courses in 6 days. Nice hilly parkland course where risks can be taken and if played well will be rewarded, otherwise punished as it should be. Fairways and greens in mint condition. Staff was excellent, and the lunch perfect.Played using FiF pass therefore excellent value for money.

Played Charleton on 2nd June 2007 found course to be OK. Nice layout though some tee boxes were a little ropey, forgiving wide fairways and nasty rough if you did stray. No 150 yard marker posts meant a £4 stroke saver.Out of 5 courses we played party was in agreement this was the one we would least like to return to, especially as the number of courses to choose from is so large.

I last played the course 3 years ago and the changes are terrific. More length, more challenges and more food available in the clubhouse. A trully memorable experience.

Played this course recently and would have to say that everything was O.K. The course is fairly forgiving and you get the impression that it is a fairly new course as the greens and the fairways look as if they are still not the finished article. The greens in particular caused a lot of problems as they were cut to the "bare bones". I would like to play this course again in a couple of years as it is potentially a really good set up.

A nice course, actually in Scotland rather than England! What it lacks in length it makes up for in the challenge posed by the greens. Only the very best will go round without three putting.

The Professional at this course, Andrew Hutton is truly amazing. An excellent teacher to all ages and enjoyable to play a round with!

This course must be the most forgotten masterpiece in England. Great value for the money! However, more bunkers are requsted. Jonas Einarsson Stockholm, Sweden
