4 reviews of Chipping Norton Golf Club

Chipping Norton plays host to our societies Championship Match every year In September , which is 36 holes with Lunch and Dinner. It represents outstanding value with superb facilities , friendly staff and Club professional and ultimately a very nice golf course. There is a real mix of holes from the signature 10th par 3 (You HAVE to get it on the same level as the pin !! ) to picturesque par 5's. Some tight holes and others you can give it a smack on without too much damage. A course that can bite you if you stray but allows scores to be made if you are consistent. I recommend a visit to golfers of any ability for a pleasant 4 hours of your time.

Ive played it twice, badly. Good course, always kept well, some tough holes for the high handicapper, especially when not playing well, which is how it should be! One day Ill go and play well, I promise! Good facilities, not over the top prices for the area and for what you get. Never had a bacon roll there yet, so must correct that as its seems I normally comment on the grub!

Played 9 holes in June - weather squally showers, which toughened up the course. Good facilities and friendly welcome. £32 for 18 holes Course mix of parkland style with several holes over streams/valleys. One or two local tips worth having, especially second which has two greens in a fork arrangement. Stroke saver on web site not much use and aiming points over crests were difficult to pick out. A good afternoons golf
