Day one of our tour of S.Wales, drove down in the morning from Bedfordshire, arrived early and met the Pro, what a fantastic greeting. We were advised to have lunch and meet him on the putting green in 40 minutes, where he gave us an introduction to the local rules, including the need for care when stepping over the fences that surround the greens to keep the sheep off. He then insisted on taking our picture to e mail onto us later, this is the way to welcome visitors, and he and the members made us very welcome, even giving us tips how to run the ball onto the greens, no big pitch shots needed here, just chip and run. This is a heathland course with plenty of gorse and bracken and great views, an ideal course to start our 5 day break on the Gower. The sheep were no trouble, they seemed to ignore everyone, nice rolling fairways and very good firm greens, would definitely play again, and thoroughly recommend it to any visitors.

Our society played here in July after all the rain and found the course in good condition and the greens still fast. Stay on the fairways and you'll put a good score on your card, stray off and you'll struggle ! Some really good interesting hole and very enjoyable course.

Played Clyne 2 weeks ago on trip to Swansea area(also played Gower, Fairwood Park and Pennard) Clyne was an interesting and fairly challenging course, with some tough holes ready to punish the wayward. The fairways and greens were in great condition. Quite a few random sheep wandering around the course - quite disconcerting trying to recover from the rough having only just scraped past the ladies' tee, with an audience of sheep feigning indifference about 6 feet away. They have no idea of etiquette! The clubhouse was plush and welcoming, and overall, well worth paying a visit if you are in the area.

Great greens, fantastic views from 16th onwards.\r\nDrawback is that you have to avoid the sheep, cows and the fences surrounding the greens.
