Our twenty strong Society played here last Saturday with two rounds 0930 and 1430. There has obviously just been quite a bit of building work as there was plenty of portacabins and containers in evidence. The shop where you check in also housed the bar and snack area which I guess is just a temporary arrangement. We got off on time and both the 1st and 10th tees, which are elevated, are right in front of the same building. The former is a challenging par 3 over a fast running brook and the 10th, probably the most difficult hole on the course requires an excellent long straight drive to a dogleg left up through some woods to the green. It is a four from which one would be delighted to finish with a five! The undulating course isn't particularly long but has very good holes although some do feel slightly tight. There are also a couple where the second time around did produce a better result when one understood what needed to be achieved. The greens weren't particularly fast but were well cared for and the course was nicely presented. We were well looked after in a very friendly fashion and considered it to be an enjoyable day for a Society on a Saturday with a round taking just over four hours.

I's a great course i'm amember and it's come on leaps and bounds in the last 2 years. The greens are good but the fairways are the best around and only £40.00 FOR A FULL JUNIOR MEMBERSHIP.

Wondeful course. Paid the discounted Junior rate of £7 and enjoyed a well presented course in great condition. Some very interesting holes on the front 9. The first is a par 3, with a 50 foot drop. You must hit over a large stream. Closely packed holes but one of Norfolks quiet gems.
