Good players have to use their head on this firm and fast course; it's no good just bombing away with an aerial game. Super design.

Just returned from a great weekend. The facilities were great and the people very friendly. We had a mixture of handicaps and found the course just about right. Found the pubs and restaurants in Midhurst good. The weekend package was very good value for money.

This is an excellent open parkland course, the best in the area. The course is very hilly with great views, and thus has very few boring holes. An excellent short game is required (you need to be able to pitch and hold the green) and some of the greens are very tricky, so sensible putting is required to finish in two.

Great test, shame about the new travelodge/little chef style clubhouse. Spoils it's character IMHO. Still, a brilliant course in excellent condition, just be careful on the 8th & 16th! You'll see what I mean!

Magnificient course, always plays so well. Terrefic 17th Par 3. Challenging- need a good short game and what an amazing clubhouse. Great to relax in after a brilliant 18 holes- very pittoresque views!

Played this in mid May. The fact that it tipped down with rain all day did not spoil the enjoyment of a superb course.Nice setting with good views and in very good condition. The greens, in particular, are absolutely superb. You will struggle to find any better. Building work on a new clubhouse is nearly finished (opening mid summer). All in all 9/10 Excellant

An absolute gem of a course, in a stunning setting with views of the South Downs and castle. Many ups and downs with a number of elevated greens which are often smallish and difficult to hit, but are fast and true. The course is well laid out with very few "dull" holes. At £25 for a weekend round, this is a bargain!

not too difficult,pleasant place to play golf,particularly in the winter,nearly always dry.I don't like the loop(holes11-13?),but 17 is a cracking par3!
