usually a nice wee holiday course, but greens are very poor and often when fairways are cut the grass is just left lying around and can get trailed onto the greens. Poor maintaince.
A true treasure of a par 3 golf course! Challenging holes varying from elevated greens, tight neck in-shots, some with large granite humps gaurding the green. The course certtainly is not flat but doesn't tax the reasonably fit golfer with mountainous 'ups' and 'downs'. All web reviews and literature state 'club selection of importance' and that is very true. Particularly of the 4th tiered approach to the green where anything short of a tee shot landing on the green results in a very challenging almost cliff-face 2nd shot. I have played this course in spring and summer and the all the holes are well maintained through the fairway to the green. However, the bunkers need a little more sand and the tees can be quite rough and uneven. Having said that the course in general is well maintained and 'Tee-Room' inside the club facilities serves excellent beverages and light meals and cakes.
A par 3 course with holes ranging from 80 yards to 200 yards with most of them around the 150 yard mark so a bit more than a pitch and putt. A few of the greens are surrounded by rocks which made for some interesting shots ! The course was mainly kept in good condition except the greens which were in a pretty bad state.
