Culcrieff Golf Club

They advertise it as Perthshires Hidden Gem, it certainly is. I played in July 2013 Green Fee was £26, or £29 with bucket of balls for the driving range, use of par 3 course, Soup and Sandwich lunch, amazing value ! The course itself wasn't the longest but it was a good challenge (I play off 12 handicap)and it had quite a few interesting holes. Teeing up on the 13th I saw what the fuss was all about re the views, absolutely stunning, take a camera with you. The course is well looked after and the Greens were as good as any I have played in years. Buggy hire available. Would recommend it to anyone visiting in the area or passing through.

Played the course whilst staying at the Crieff Hydro complex and thoroughly enjoyed my round on this most scenic of courses with fantastic views towards the mountains of perthshire. The course was not horrifically long but was quite hilly and the greens were in superb condition. If you're staying at the hotel the daily green fee is £15 (£20 if not) which is pretty good value. The staff were very friendly and there is a nice restaurant providing food at the end of your round. There is also a 6 hole course (each hole is approx 100 yards) which is great for kids or beginners.
