I played again at Driffield on 6th January and was delighted with the condition of the course in spite of the cold wintery weather. The course provided a good challenge and there is a good variety oif holes to maintain interest throughout the round. The professional was friendly and the catering staff prepared an excellent meal after my round. Overall this is a high standard course which may be played at a reasonable cost.

I have played this course on a number of occasions this year. The course and facilities provide a Quality Golfing Experience.

Played in the October 2011 heatwave, but the greens were quite slow, and the shady areas had plenty of dew! The course is not long, but pretty, if really designed for pre-modern clubs, eg shortish, but narrow fairways between mature parkland, and a couple of odd doglegs. Did not drive well until near the end so suffered more than I should, while the par 3s seemed all about 180yds from yellows except the hidden 15th. The addition of three holes on the back nine across the Derwent are not aesthetically pleasing to the original layout, but seats at every tee were gratefully sat upon in 28 degrees! A nice course at a decent price, which can be enjoyed if members do not keep cutting across to different holes! By the way there were three number 1 licence plates in the car park?!

I played a round on 29th August 2011 and enjoyed lunch afterwards in the clubhouse. The course was in excellent condition with varied fairways and true greens, all in a country park environment. It was a delight! The service from the bar and kitchen satff was excellent also.

date played was 28/07/08. played on 2-4-1 vouchers,course was in very good condition,every hole different,more placement than power off the tee.Had a lovely meal afterwards..
