Thought I'd played the best nine holer in Scotland at Traigh, but this place beats it. Mainly for the size of the course it doesn't feel small. Each hole is diffent with giving you options all the time. Played it last August had the place to myself for the first nine, even after that only about half a dozen on the course. The views are out of this world one minute you are looking out at sea true links then you are surrounded by mountains and a lovely little loch to play round or over if you feel brave( i just made it wind assisted). Last hole sorts the men from the boys can imagine a bit of a card killer when you have got a crowd watching. But to be honest scores dont matter here just enjoy worth the journey. When you go try the coast road to ullapool best road in scotland (when sun is shinning)
Wonderful place with a feeling of true isolation, and a lovely golf course centred around fun with thrilling downhill approaches and one across the sea at the last. Not long but the holes are as good as those on many more expensive courses further south, and thats without mentioning the views...
As picturesque as any course in the Algarve and an enjoyable test of Golf a nine hole course with 2 sets of tees at each hole which changes the complexion of each hole enormously. The location of the town itself will keep away casual visitors but if in the area it truly is a hidden gem and a must play.
