fantastic course, played on friday, shot -5.
I can't tell you what a gem of a course this is.Played it at the end of may 2010. The greens are like glass, possibly even fastener than The Grove. The layout is incredibly tricky, with the river being fairly wide,so you can't ever get a lucky bounce over. Fairways are narrow, and the rough is quite punishing. Also, the rough goes right up to the grees, with only a small apron, so you can't run the ball thro' when chipping. If you like a challenge play Ealing. We will definitely return.
Played in a golf society day in September. The Greens were very good and the course in good condition. The river Brent coming into play on a number of holes. Some of the members took the time to speak to us, which is always nice. The management were also very accomodating. One or two of the tees and greens alittle close together, but all in all an excellent days golf and I would be happy to return. Thanks Ealing Golf Club.
Tricky little course, the river Brent crosses several holes,a little noisy but very close to central London and seem to welcome visitors warmly. No fantastically long but greens pretty good, fair price for green fees,if you are working in London nip out for a round
