Nice coure. I only got to play ten of the holes, but what a lovely 10 holes they were. A nice few steps on to the tee box, and a straight drive needed. On the 2nd hole a random tree in the middle of the fairway, if done, birdie terrority. The par 3 5th is a lovely hole with rhodedendrums surrounding the hole. Lovely, course and beautiful surroundings. The clubhouse was nice with good food on sale. Also good Putting Green. Nice undulating green. All in all, a nice day out. P.S- try the put to the eighth hole on the practice green, and start wiyh the ball on the opposite side of the green. (Near the clubhouse). I got it in twice.

I was looking for a course to play on a 2-fore-1 voucher whilst away on business in Yorkshire when I stumbled across Easingwold. This course would be tremendous value even at the full rate of £20 per person. It's a lovely mature course with neat tees (some recenlty re-built and not yet in play), well defined tree-lined fairways, punishing fairway bunkers and a pleasant clubhouse which is complemented by a friendly Pro Shop. Only the greens disappointed. They were patchy (and therefore bumpy), quite slow and didn't appear to have been watered as it was difficult to play a shot of more than 100 yards into the green with any hope of holding the ball. But that's a minor gripe when taking the course as a whole, and not one that should put you off playing there. Unfortunately the 5th hole (par 3) was out of play which is a shame as I think that it will be a lovely little hole when it's back in play. Regards Andrew Davidson 12/5/03

This is a very pleasant course with parkland and links features as well as a few water hazards ib the form of streams which cross or border fairways. The fairways are often treelined and a wayward shot can often incur at least one recovery shot. The 14th and the 18th are fairly svere dog legs which offer reward for the bold hitter if he is successful. Overall a picturesque and physically not too demanding course.
