3 reviews of Emporda Golf Club
Played Forest course here in May 2012 excellent course and great condition.Staff very accomodating we got rained off on first day and allowed to come back and play full round for 25 euros. Will be coming back in 2013 to play the links course as well.
Played both links and forest in October 05. We found both courses to be in excellent condition. The greens were true and very quick and the links greens had some very intresting pin positions. Some great holes on both courses the links offers a contrast to most other tree lined courses in the area.Great value and a must play Resort(WE WILL BE BACK)
The club now has 36 holes - the red 9 holes opened on 22 March 2004. This now completes two distinct 18 hole courses. 1. is the "Links" which consists of the green and red 9 holes and two "Forest" which is the old blue and gold 9 holes ( the old 7 and 8th on the Gold have been replaced by two new holes; the old 9th becomes the 16th and the 17th and 18th now bring you back to the clubhouse. The courses are in excellent condition - even the new red 9 holes. The greens are true and fast, the fairways well manicured with both course giving a good test. Green fees are 52 Euros (£35 approx.)for 18 holes in the high season which considering the inflated green fees charged on the Costa del Sol and the Algarve for inferior courses is good value for money.
