An unbelievably tight 9 hole course, particularly for the majority of players who will be playing it (beginners) as it is a pay and play municipal course. Very accomodating regarding clothing (jeans and trainers) which is good for the beginners. Lots of changes in elevation, lots of dog legs, lots of trees and as I said, very tight. Greens were about the standard you would expect from a municipal - grass left long to protect them, therefore very slow, but a bit threadbare in places, particularly those in the shade. Some lovely looking and challenging holes off the tee. As warm a welcome as you would get anywhere from the reception staff - well done ladies. All in all, good value for money, take lots of balls, and a pleasant enough way to spend a few hours.

Played this course last week after a gap of about 13 years. The greens were in excellent condition given it being a municipal course. Good tight course with some lovely holes (especially the 7th). Very impressed indeed. I will come again.

Played this course last year. The course has links with several local B&B's and it is very well run. Only 9 holes, but it is quite daunting when you play it for the first time. Quite undulating. Many trees and hidden dog-legs. I found this quite tuff as a high handicapper. The pro's might find it easier. However, it is very social and located so near the centre of bath, you can get a lot done in a day. I definately recommend this course.

Steep, tight, narrow, but gorgeous little 9 hole municipal nearly in the centre of Bath. Although can be wet in winter, it is always in tip top condition and is a real blinder of a test........and keeps your heart healthy !
