Eskdale Golf Course

Played this course in June 2010. Like stepping back in time with the honesty box for green fees. Deceptively challanging (26 hc) with some interesting holes. While on the course it is real millionaires golf, feels like your playing in the grounds of a country house. Need to be aware of other players as some of the holes cross / overlap but well worth the visit.

I have played this course a few times as i live pretty local and it is one of my favourite courses. I have played at numerous courses at a high quality, e,g Hunting course, Slaley hall and i rate this course among the best. Mainly because of the atmosphere and scenery. It is breathtaking.

I played this course with a group of friends 14th June 2006. The course layout is superb, running through some of the most beautiful coutryside in the South Lakes. The course offers a great day out for Golfers of all abilities. To have a peaceful day with great golf and scenery thrown in you cannot go far wrong here.
