I played this course on the 14/8/2006 and was surprisingly impressed. I say surprisingly because when you approach the course it doesn't look very impressive. The first hole is a long but fairly easy par 5 followed by a lovely par 3. There are then a series of par 4's which you hit blind tee shots on and most of the time end up behind trees without a shot to the green or 250 yards away when with the help of a course planner you might only be 100 yards away. These holes let the course down slightly and also the trek between 6 and the 7th hole! Overall though a course well worth playing for some practice.
A nine hole course played as eighteen from two different tees per hole. This course is best played as a guest of a member, that way you will have an idea of where to be as there is no course guide or information on the tee as to what a lot of the holes do. A few holes are played blind, or you have no idea of the distance to position yourself off the tee before a severe dog-leg (and there are many). Most holes have a severely sloping fairway, couple that with a blind shot off the tee and what you think is the best tee shot of your life bounces and is never seen by you again, with you scratching your head wondering where it went after hitting the middle of the fairway. A long trek between the 6th/16th and 7th/17th tees. Good drainage and a pretty course. A little course that can really beat you up.
