great course in beautiful setting.fair challenge.grens were covered in sand which is a negative at this time of year.could do with 100 and 200 yard markers, only 150's.water is punishing on certain holes.particularly like the fact that we had a starter and think mcquillans after nine is an excellent selling point which should be utilised by other courses.clubhouse is excellent and food great.staff friendly and accomodating.
Played Galgorm with a society on 30th March. There are a good variety of holes and plenty of water to catch you out if you stray off line. It's a challenge for lower handicappers, but not too intimidating for us ordinary mortals. It was a bit damp in places but I'd certainly go back in the summer to see it at its best. The sand based greens were in fine condition for the time of year. Staff were friendly and welcoming and the food was excellent. One of our fourball had a hole in one at the 175 yd 5th, so a good value day out became even cheaper for the rest of us!
Great course and a really good challenge. Some fantastic holes and the surrounding area makes this a must play course if you are visiting Northern Ireland.
