Played with bunkered vouchers sept 14, tee shirt weather. Course in superb condition for the time of year, great layout and challenging enough, short but vefy tough rough. Not a bad hole on the course and some superb golf holes. Defo worth a visit and we will be back, hopefully on the list for bunkered in 2015. .

Our party of 16 played here on Sunday 19th July. We all enjoyed the course, although we had to contend with a fierce wind on the back 9.On my previous visit to the course ( to collect a buggy to play nearby Alyth Golf Club in 1999) the course seemed very new and wide open. Many trees have now grown in and the course is now very good indeed. The greens are excellent...very fast! The staff were very helpful and the Clubhouse bar has a great view over the final hole/green. I had told some of our party, from North America, that Glenisla would be a gentle opener to our week in Perthshire/Angus! I got that wrong then!! I'd recommend anyone to play this excellent course.

played this great course at the end of march with 2 friends.weather wasnt the greatest ,a bit windy and a couple of rain showers which made this a good test.no matter what handicap you are you will love this course and will want to go back.roll on the summer so we can go back again and play it in better weather conditions(hopefully).a variety of holes will make sure you dont get bored.my playing partner who is a well travelled golfer thinks this is one of the best courses he has played.his clubs have taken him to carnoustie, troon, turnberry etc so i would recommend you go and play this for yourself.

I took a party of 24 here and found that the staff both in the office and the bar etc were delightful, friendly and made us feel most welcome. All our party whose handicaps range from 4 - 22 enjoyed the Course which has some challenging holes. I think it can be taken for granted that " We will return"! Thanks to Jill & Alison for all their help.

A great venue for a golf outing. Our party of 22 were very well looked after; high standards and excellent catering. The course is very well laid out and was in fantastic condition; it was a challenge for all players, ranging from handicaps of 4 to 28. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves and the bonus was the benign 'Algarve' weather! We will be returning.

recently played glenisla on a warm sunny day, course in excellent condition but not to demanding.Clubhouse excellent. The day spoilt by a tractor which appeared to be fitted with a world war 2 aeroplane engine, its loud drone could be heard from every part of the golf course. This noise shattered the peace of an otherwise tranquil surrounding.

After taking a party of 17 to this excellent course i felt compelled to give feed-back on one of the best courses i have played in many a year. All 16 other players aggreed the course was not too demanding, though respect was due on the blind holes(their course layout booklet was worth every penny). If you have a hot summers day as i had, this course you will love and all its features including the friendly clubhouse.

My husband and myself played this course three weeks ago. It was a very windy day and we were just about blown off our feet but we thoroughly enjoyed it. Playing from fairway mats was a new experience for us both but we coped - Jon better thans me. Some of the holes were very challenging but we would like to play it again- when it is warm. Thanks to the pro for being so helpful.

I have played Glen Isla a few times this summer and every time I have found it a delight. Clever use of the terrain has turned what could have been a flat and dull valley course into a mixture of short, long and sometimes deadly holes. The short holes are particularly good. One involves a 90 degree dogleg corner that cannot be cut. Others invite target golf shots to the flags but there is always a problem. However, all in all,it's a fair course where good shots are rewarded.
