Another hot day and another gem of a course -100 years old this year! . Clubhouse is very impressive, but watch out for the trolleys. The have a mixture of green and black ones and the handles they give out willy-nilly. We got five handles and none of them fitted the trolleys! Anyway a minor quibble as the course was well set up, well presented & an electronic starter scoreboard on the 1st Tee! (you play enough golf you'll see everything like Marmots on the fairways at Tignes)Some tees and fairways do criss cross occasionally but not enough to spoil your enjoyment. As with all French courses some delightful elevation changes to either delight or terrify you on the tee. Oh and I forgot to mention some very scary fast greens Finally a word to the wise, The 18th looks like there is water in front of it. Don't believe it - its everywhere round the green so if you miss it your ball goes swimming and your opponent if he stays dry takes your money! Dom play it and enjoy
