3 reviews of Golf de Chamonix
This was the second year running that our society has played this course. We had a flight back from Geneva, early evening on the Sunday, but we made sure we got a tee time to play this course! It's fantastic. The views are great and the course reps speed you along at an enjoyable rate, so there's no waiting for any shot. Plenty of hazards to test any golfer. The course was in great condition and the greens were perfect (not as fast as Evian!) Highly recommended.
A splendid location, each hole presents a fair challenge. Both the 6th and 17th (par 3's) need enough concentration to avoid the water hazards without the distraction of the views. We had a very enjoyable round and look forward to visiting again
A truly spectacular Golf Course with amazing views of the Mont Blanc range. The course also has some pretty tough holes, particularly for those with a handicap of 15 or less as the club insists that all such 'low handicappers' play off the Championship Tees which can be as much as 50 metres further back. The course is also excellent value for money at circa 300FF for a round or 470FF for 3 rounds. Well worth a visit or even a detour.
