Played Guadalhorce for the first time on opening day of 2011 annual trip in March 2011. First of all, if you're in a hire car, unless you know where you're going I reckon the chances of finding the place are pretty remote! We were on a minibus so it didn't affect us, but the usual drivers on our trip were breathing a sigh of relief! A fairly flat parkland course, several of us walked this without any difficulty at all. A decent enough layout, not overly long and a fair "holiday golf" course, though if you were wild you were punished. Greens were really quick for the time of the year, but the practice greens were of the same pace so it didn't take us by suprise. Practice facilities all round in fact were first rate, so no excuse for not being ready on the first tee. Good mix of holes to suit all abilities, and an absolute beauty of a finishing hole which I wouldn't be suprised to see as the signature hole. Nice clubhouse, pro shop was shut so can't comment, and we got a pleasant enough welcome without them rolling out the red carpet. Decent value for money so definitely one to consider in the future.

just played this course, what a little gem, greens some of the best in the area.flat course so save on the 32 euro price of a buggy and walk.slightly pricy at 55 euro, but you get tremendous value at the halfway house.

This is an ok course. Played it in March 2004 and it was in good condition. The front 9 is quite varied with some interesting holes. The back 9 is more up and down with just the odd hole that stands out from the crowd. The greens were in good condition as was the course generally. Also it is a course that is easily walkable so unless the day is exceptionally hot then you can save on a buggy. I am not certain of the green fees because we paid for it within the package but I imagine that it is one of the cheaper courses in the area which would make it good value for money
