Goog ,challenging course, even though not long. Very good condition greens, bunkers and fairways. You can get in trouble if you're wayward, as lots of trees and long rough. Good value for £28 with County Card. We will go back.

Played here for the first time on Fri 29/6/07. At a cost of £22 with a 2-fore-1 voucher which was great value. The course is in great condition and was very enjoyable. The course wasn't very busy and the staff and members seemed nice. The course itself is quite hilly which offered some great views across london on the higher holes. Although there isn't many par 5's the course is still fairly testing, by playing tight, with some tough rough. Definately worth a round here at this value.

Played here on a Monday in November ( £20 using the Open Fairways Daily Telegraph Card ).A downland course with fine views which is pleasant enough without being special. While most of the holes here are fine there weren't any that really stood out as being truly memorable. The club was welcoming & the course fairly quiet. The general condition was good & the course dries out really well. The £20 we paid was fair value & at this rate it's worth a knock here if you're in the area. Kevin B.

I know my way around fairly well, however this does not make it an easy course by any means. This is a devious course for higher hanicappers who may struggle sometimes to find the fairway as what lies to the sides of most of the holes is most deffinately dangerous if one strays to these parts. However, if you hit straight and cleanly the course should not be to difficult but still has an able challenge to keep the round exiting and entertaining. The bunkers at present are undergoing work and fresh sand is being laid. The greens are in fair condition and the course plays well all year round. In the winter it is a great course to play as its height and underlying rock (chalk) makes for good drainage and so the course rairly becomes boggy. All in all a good course to play and a fine challenge. The staff in the pro shop are all friendly and willing to help and the 19th makes the welcome rest even better with its quality food and drink.

Having played this course twice over the last two weeks, I'd recommend it highly. Although the course isn't long, the rough is tough (Muirfield like). If you're lucky as we were, you can see the Post Office Tower, the City and Heathrow from the high parts of the course. Greens and fairways are in good nick.
