Played Hagley yesterday, its a real 'game of two halves' at Hagley The first 9 are fairly flat with forgiving fairways, the second 9 a complete contrast with plenty of hills and dales and tight shots. The 13th (Lutley Plateau) being the best example with probably the steepest approach to a green I've ever played. The only criticism I would have is that the greens were a little inconsistant, some fast and a couple very slow. This didn't spoil my enjoyment of the round. Due to time contraints we didn't have a chance to sample the off course facilities

i have just finished the best course i have played on since taking up the game 2 years ago, this course is very challenging for a mid handicapper like myself. i really enjoyed it, the greens are in great condition for the time of year, you must keep on the fairways though because the rough is very difficult to get out of, some great hazzards as well which really come into play. would recomend this golf club to anybody wishing to try a new course. the club itself looks like they are spending quite a lot of money on the club with a new driving range being built at the moment, should be finished the end of november, it looks fantastic, the staff were very friendly and so the people on the course. will definately be going back, well worth the £25 for 18 holes.

I have played this course for many years, and the course has improved greatly although during the winter months, it is still very wet. Nevertheless, it still remains a very demanding course.
