played here about a week ago and although ide shot my best round of golf to date here i would say its not my most favoured place, dont get me wrong its clubhouse is immaculate and staff are great, and the deals on offer are very good, however i feel the course itself is too open (some people like that i know but i prefer each hole to be its own as opposed to having shots from others coming over your fairway/green etc) for instance i was playing a par 3 and not once but twice other ball strikers were landing on the fairway from two different holes, the 18th is a nice par 5 finish with a cheeky waterhazard just shy of the green, but be warned wayward fades or bad slices from the driving range easily find there way onto the fairway as the protective fence is only about 8ft or so,got quite busy around 3pm (we teed off about 2pm) and although we let a couple of groups play through (im not the quickest golfer) i did feel a little rushed at times...all in all a very enjoyable day, will definately be returning, although it will be as my third choice.

i play this course every week its a fantatic little starter course nice and open so if you slice one left/right you can get out of trouble. amazing offers too weekdays 12 quid and you can have a basket of balls for the range then unlimted rounds all day. only bad point is the soild ground which hurts your knees on the second time round. a fair bit of ground work happening at the moment but its all starting to look good.

Small pitch and putt with basic facilities. Range has power tees, but plain outfield. Good for learning, that is about it.

I played the course at Halfpenny Green Golf Course for the first time today and I thouroughly enjoyed my experience. The course is well maitained and more than challenging for myself. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The driving range is very well equiped with power tees, good quality range balls and accurately positioned targets. The golf club is beautifully set within the South Staffordshire countryside with views of beautiful rolling hills and countryside.

I have played this course about 12 tomes up to date and all i can say is that the condition of the course gets better and better.the greens are in better condition than some courses that you would pay£30 or more to play.Yes the course could do with being a bit longer but there is only so much can be done with the land they have got.

A dull course with little to recommend it to anyone other than the young beginner. A flat course with no definition to the fairways, bunkers have plenty of sand but are un-raked, and the greens are in good condition but are not very challenging. The course is on the short side with the 3 par 3's lumped together in the middle. I did not stay because I felt the money for my round was snatched from my hand without any courtesy what-so-ever, so cannot pass any comment on the clubhouse or its facilities. There are other courses nearby that provide better value than here.

Good points first, the staff are very friendly and the clubhouse is 1st class + the golf is at an affordable price and they have a very good practice putting green. Bad points, when i last visited the course which was about 3 weeks ago the bunkers where in a bad state with the grey lining showing through them and stones present, there are NO distance markers at 150yrd from fairway to green, the range balls where that bad they should be discarded they was totally useless and a waste of time and money.

Been playing on this course for a few years and it has always been very well maintained in all aspects. Greens are always immaculate and fairways are clean. Never been muddy dispite bad weather, good course all year round. Ideal as a begginners course but still challenging for a good amateur. Bunkers are great, plenty of sand! Only 2 GUR's for this time of year. Good driving range for day and night. The range balls are all of good quality every time i have been. Club house provides good range of drinks aswell as hot and cold food. Staff are very friendly and hospitable. Overall a great golf club which i will keep coming back to for aslong as i am playing golf.

played this course for the first time with my brother who has just started playing, the course was in very good condition considering its only 4 years old, greens were brillent,tees/fairways were in good condition, this is very well draining course so theres no need for tempery greens/tees quite flat and open, trees planted between the fairways will give the course a good defenition when they reach a good height, beautiful club house, the staff were really friendly, food was very good, all in all a great day out.

A good course for the beginer but a little boring for the better player. The greens are kept well, as are the fairways. I have played this course many times and my only gripe is the lack of feature. The fairways are all fairly wide but with no trees or anything separating each makes it too easy. A very flat course with little to test your skill. Also, the quality of the range balls are very poor. The last basket of balls I had there contained many balls with huge chunks missing and all looked very old, which is odd as the course is only a few years old. The young age of this course is obvious when you see the amount of G.U.R (ground under repair). Bunkers are just mud holes with a little sand thrown on top. I played tis course when it first opened and played it last week. I did't really see much improvment during this time.
