3 reviews of Hilton Templepatrick Hotel and Country Club
We played this course on the same day that Belfast had 15 feet of rain water in an underpass, so the course was quite wet. We put on our rain gloves and suits and got after it. Two of our foursome decided to hit the pub after nine but the others finished it. Quite wet, but the layout was fun and interesting. Water, not counting the water in the fairways, comes into play on quite a few of the holes. The greens were large and receptive. The clubhouse offered us another 9 holes after our round was finished because of the rain. Mark from Oklahoma
Played this good course for a bargain 15 pounds on March 29th in a midweek comp. It was in good condition for the time of year - very few damp areas and good greens. Water comes into play on quite a few holes and you need to have your wits about you to shoot around par. It probably does get a bit of hammer from hotel guests in the summer, but I'd certainly recommend you play it if you get a good deal.
Nice course but perhaps a little overpriced. Certainly worth it if you can get a money off voucher like myself and group did. The course itself is interesting although I would suggest it does look overplayed and is not as good as the nearby Galgorm Castle or a couple of other Belast courses. However, dont let the above put you off, if you decide to play this course, you will enjoy a challenging game in delighful countryside.
