The course is really maturing well and the investment is certainly paying off. Greens and fairways in excellent condition and rough around trees all now cut back. The long grass on top of mounds which follow each hole add too the look of this very picturesque course with no two holes the same. It's not an easy challenge and the wind can certainly play a part..

Played the course on 2 occasions on green free vouchers - course has good layout and challenging holes but is very scruffy. Greens are rubbish and rough in trees is pathetic. 2nd time took ages as all groups of golfers (including ours) where always looking for balls in the rough or trees. The greens are not up to even municipal standard. The course design is great and a real test but putting is a lottery. I spoke to members they said course doesn't have enough green staff working on it and that the greens have always been poor. Shame because course layout , surroundings and facilities are top notch.

Played on a 2for1 ticket on friday £15 each. great value. the club had a great driving range with a very well stocked pro shop and superb club house which we had a light meal in after the round. the course itself was a challenging course with plenty of water hazards. A lot of thought was required regarding shot selection on most holes. Out of 18 holes i would suggest 15 of them were well thought out. the only exceptions being the run from 13-15 which i thought were very bland. You could be forgiven for standing on the 15th green thinking the course was petering out but the finishing three involved an uphill par 3. a very cruelly placed ditch to catch tee shots on 17 !!!! and a good finishing hole (par 5) involving another water feature to catch some second shots sadly the greens were not in great shape which may have been because it was early season but talking to a member afterwards he said they hadnt been very good for a few years now to sum up a course offering great value for money although i believe the prices are due to go up once the clocks have gone forward but the greens stop me from giving it top marks.

having been recommended by my partners to play hurlston hall after playing there last year i felt let down by the condition of the course particularly the greens, they appear to have been neglected and any soft touch putt of more than 3 feet became a lottery, the lay out of the course was pleasing on the eye, fairways o.k. at best. Off course was very impressive with driving range, good well stocked shop, food was decent but overall package not worth the money

all the par 5 are testing for any level of golfer. 17 & 18 could have the ability to destroy any half decent round, will play again

A good test not as good as some courses in the area still quite newand it showed. Don't forget your visa card for the drinks after (a little exspensive not half).

Not cheap, but quality never is... Some spectacular holes, mixed with some mundane ones.. around the turn is particularly interesting... Excellent greens, fairways immaculate.... well worth a visit by any serious golfer..
