5 reviews of Kemnay Golf Club
Played May 2010. Excellent course, generally in very good condition considering recent wet weather, and greens were superb. We had a day ticket which represents fantastic value at £39 for two rounds. Very nice clubhouse, friendly proshop and staff, great all day breakfast. Really can't find fault at all - would definitely play again.
played the course April 2009 and thoroughly enjoyed the course. Some interesting holes with a couple of blind shots that can catch you out. Watch out for the water. Overall the course was in excellent condition considering the time of year. Hospitality in the clubhouse was first class ad definately one I will visit again especially as it was very good value for money.
I agree with the previous comment. I played the course on 12 June and the greens were fantastic - firm with a good covering of grass and fast. The Head Greenkeeper and his staff have done a great job. They are the best greens I have played on this year (16 other courses) by some margin and that includes Cruden Bay. The course is not long but has some nice holes and very much value for money. A bit of a hidden gem. Go on make a visit and enjoy your day.
Played Kemnay at the end of May. Course was in wonderful condition - greens were fantastic - good run, fast, and consistent. Pace of play very good - even though there was a medal on, still got round in 3.75 hours. Highly recommended.
Recently extended by about 400yds Kemnay provides a testing course with both wide and narrow fairways. The greens offer a variety of sizes and contours, and are in good condition. The rough varies from reasonable to tough, providing a good test of a golfers ability.
