I used to play this course a lot when I lived in Ireland and I really loved it. it is not the longest course in the world but it has many interesting holes. My favourite one being the short par 4 10th. It has a few blind shots which can be a bit annoying if you are playing it for the first time. It is also quite hilly but this gives one a good work-out. The fairways are always in good condition and in summer the greens too. I recommend it if you want to have to make various shot choices.
