Lamlash is a fantastic golf course. I have played it frequently over the years and have noticed real improvements since I first played the course in the early nineties. The majority of the course is varied, interesting and challenging. During the cummer, the course is always in great condition but beware of the Scottish midge in the late afternoon and early evening!! Memorable holes include Holes 1, 3, 5, 10, 12, 16 & 18. I'd strongly recommend a visit. Even if you don't play well, you'll enjoy what is a verfy scenic walk.

Really a nine hole course with a back nine built as a means to get to the 18th (the only hole coming home that doesn't appear contrived). That said the front nine is well structured and maintained to a high standard, with true greens. The view coming up the 8th is spectacular (just don't turn left after the ninth).

I recently travelled from London for a weekends golf to this course, described to me as a delight to play. Little did I know how much of a delight. The views must be some of the best in golf anywhere and are to be savoured by those lucky enough to be members. The course although short in yards is long and tough enough to be a challenge for any average golfer. Hospitality abounds everywhere from the tee to the nineteenth. A real pleasure to have played there and cannot wait until the next time.

A fine little course following the glen up from Lamlash. Some exacting holes, with tight fairways and small greens. Some longish up hill par 3s that seem to be a lot longer. A good day out and excellent value. The view over Holy Island, which appears suddenly as you crest the hill, must be one of the best in golf. Hospitality is good, this little gem of a course is well worth a visit.

Lamlash is a challenging course, although short. It follows the course of a valley, climbing up, then all the way back and then up and back again. Sounds straightforward, but there is the odd raised green and some fierce bracken filled hollows and dips, which demand accuracy. Kept in excellent condition and the greens are sweet! Constantly with you, all over the course, is the magnificent view down the valley and out to the impressive Holy Isle in the bay. Play this and Shiskine in a day and you'll put your feet up a very happy golfer!
