10 reviews of Little Lakes Golf Club

i have played Little Lakes for over eight years and the course was lengthend by some 800 yards by taking out some par 3, it is always in good condition the greens are excellent and for any golfer in the KIDDERMINSTER area i would urge you to visit, you will not be disappointed.

I've been playing Little Lakes for a number of years but the developments over recent times have encouraged me to become a member. I would recommend Little Lakes to anyone. An excellent test for all handicaps with many interesting holes and "opportunities" for poor club selection. Greens are in excellent condition and the course overall very well maintained. Improving every year this course does not disappoint. Staff are first rate and the food is exceptional.

I played Little Lakes for the first time on 27/07/05 and can only assume that Garry Gordon must have had a particlarly bad day. Admittedly there are one or two steep inclines to overcome but the course in general was a delight to play. I particularly enjoyed holes 3, 6, 10, and 14. AS a 21 handicapper the course is a little tight in places but the course on a whole was in excellent condition. With the work that is taking place I can only imagine a bright future for this course and would have no hestitation in returning there in the near future

to all you readers little lakes golf course is a little gem. the course is great for all golfers to the high and low. the pro is excellent and always gives you a warm welcome to all. i know ive been going there for many of years with my golf society. the staff are secound to none with the food (carvery) and drink good pint!,also with great atmosphere in the club it's self. little lakes golf course give your self a tap on the back for great detail you put in day in day out. to any society give it a go i strongly recomend this course to anyone.

this course is magnificent but is let down by a couple of silly holes.the views you recieve from the 10th hole when you look down are superb and you do not know how big this course actualy is until you have stood and admired for yourself.the holes are very hard to judge with some being long and straight and others being shaped in a way that the first time you play there you have no idea where the green is which can be difficult when you try to judge your distances.some holes on this course are also very tight like the 1st and 2nd on which you need to look out for stray balls as we found out when there was a society teeing off behind us,but apart from this it was good value for money with friendly people and with a joining fee which includes the use off a swimming pool and a sister course i would recomend it.

I've read previous comments on this course and would suggest that it is a decent course, but unfortunately does not set the world on fire. I would certainly play Wharton Park, less than 5 miles away, ahead of this everytime. It does offer some really challenging holes for every golfing ability. I was very disappointed with the first 2 very ordinary holes. (Beware your second shot on the 2nd, any lay up shot to the right side of the fairway will kick into the hidden hazard. This has to be one of the worst designed holes I have ever played) The course does improve however and the 4th & 5th are both strong Par 4's. The course could really benefit from a yardage book as there are several blind shots. It's not a course I would venture to again. However by playing it you do get a 25% reduction on the green fee at Gaudet Luce, which is a lot better course.

I feel that this course is one of the best that i have ever played. Although the course is both long and at times difficult i feel that it is a excellent course to really test both the experienced and amature golfer. The first time i played at the course was when some of my family moved onto the caravan site, since then which was back in January I have at least played there once a month as it has helped my game 10 fold and overall i would give the course a well deserved 9/10. The reason for this being i feel that there is not another course that can offer the quality of golf as Little Lakes can for the money.

Having played the course in June after a bit of rain I thought it realy suffered under foot, this is the first game in ten or so rounds that the boots need a good clean.Alot of the holes I thought had a farmers field feel to them with o.o.b. close on 6 holes or so. The course was interesting in places but tee boxes and fairways were in need of a trim(although some fairways were thread bare), greens were in good condition and quite interesting. holes of note 7th(stay right) 13th and 16th. All in all not to bad for £16.00 but try to get in when it's very dry weather.

Excellant course out in beautiful countryside. 1999 the greens were new and occasionally of mediocre qqulity, however the overall course is very interesting, varrying and enjoyable.
