played 16th may 2010, very nice course, in good condition, i found the par 3s very tough, with the most serve greens on them, nice layout ,gentle start to the round then it really picks up, good test of golf and would play again, clubhouse sits there very promanant ,nice building

Nice course with great scenery and views. There is a lot of variety and you have to think your way around this one. Unfortunately the greens were not great but I'm sure that will improve later in the year. I would recommend this course to anyone wishing to enjoy a great golf experience.

we played longniddry on the second day of our trip (29/04/08) and the course was in great condition. it mixes parkland and links seemlessly and has spectacular views across the firth. i didnt start the round well but after hitting a birdie on the par 3 sixth it really kicked me on and started playing really well, inspired by the beautiful surroundings. every hole seems different from the last and some of the par 3s are breath taking. the course is well worth a visit and i would love to return in the future. all the staff were very friendly and the meal after our round was delicious.

Played Longniddry on 25th August and have to say its easily one of the best I've played. Fantastic views on the back nine. Best of both worlds with parkland mixed with true links holes and some of the best greens around. Luckily I played on a fairly still, sunny day. With the wind blowing, according to the member I played with its a whole new ball game. Can't say enough good things about this course and for a tenner (with a member) unbelieveable value. Its not an open qualifying course for nothing!!

I must congratulate the team who support the young golfers in the club. You are giving Longniddry Golf Club youngsters a great opportunity to develop skills for the future. Thank you

This course has the best(and fastest)greens I have played. The course is a mix of links and parkland, no par 5s, some long par 4s. This course is in the of best condition, one of the best I have played.

Combines features of parkland golf as well as links golf with a few long tough par 4s lined by fir trees. Longniddry Inn in the village serves good food.
