I feel Lyons Gate Golf Course offers a tough challenge of the best of golfers yet set in the peaceful and beautiful countryside of Dorset it offers get views to follow along side the great golf this course offers. The course is short with low yardage holes. There are no par-5's on this 9-hole course. This course is my local golf course were I am a member. I feel it is relaxing and offers younger or new players a great chance to lean and improve even though it is tough. The 8-hole is my favourite as it offers the chance of a long drive and short chip on to the green. It is a tough hole with lots of hazards including a lange bunker next to the green. Michael J. C 16

A lovely course in a spectacular setting. Tougher than I expected with some very interesting holes. especially the eighth.... Staff very friendly. I will definately play again when in the vicinity.
