We played May 2010. The front 9 and back 9 are two completely different courses, the front 9 the better of the two. A little bit squashed in, but some interesting and challenging holes. The back 9, with the exception of the last 3, was a big let down(it had the feel of an unloved municipal, and very short). Overpriced at £37 a round for visitors, really shouldn't be more that around £25 max in our opinion.
The course is the best of the "dormitory" town courses around Aberdeen, particularly when it has had a chance to dry out a bit in the late spring. Unfortunately it can be very wet at times when there has been sustained rain for a period.\r\n\r\nIt has what is probably the toughest two finishing holes in the North-East, both requiring a vary precisely placed drive followed by a long shot to the green. Come off those two holes with pars on each and you can be proud of your achievement!\r\n\r\nIt is an enjoyable course which is fair to golfers of any standard, and the membership is friendly, with very good clubhouse facilities.
