I played this in July 2003. Our group was extremely disappointed, even taking into account the half-price vouchers from which we benefited. By the way, I have no axe to grind whatsoever - I simply want fellow golfers to know what to expect. Impersonal unwelcoming modern country/leisure club atmosphere, without the course to warrant such snobbishness. It was obviously designed so that the estate managers can claim they have a championship-length course. Holiday homes line the final hole to sum up its lame Florida-wannabee character. Generally dull, bunkers in poor condition, missing rakes, inaccurate yardage charts (for which they have the cheek to charge =£3). I suspect they have money problems. Very few redeeming features. Would recommend any of Peel, Ramsey, Castletown without hesitation over this. Adrian Fergus
I Played this course when i was on holiday, i wasnt quite used to long par 4s which only really low handicappers can reach but i enjoyed the day and the clubhouse is top class only problem the course is new and not quite matured. on the second my golf buggy was a wippit and we turned a sharp corner and i fell out lol.
this is an excellent course with the longest hole being a large 564 metre par 5.along with the excellent presentation of the course the putting green,240 yard driving range.this course is suited for the lower handicap but higher handincapts are exepted. green fees anre a mild 8 pounds.this is an all round great course
