Newport (Isle of Wight) Golf Club

I have played here several times as a visitor and always found the club extremely friendly and welcoming. An interesting course with a variety of challenges from flat holes to undulating including a long uphill par 4 and a tricky par 3 over a valley. Generally relatively easy to get a tee time even as a visitor and the course is in good condition. Good value and worth the trip - especially on a nice clear sunny day to show off the views.

Did not get to play this course as they never return your phone calls. Phoned on FIVE seperate days to phone to arrange a Tee off time, you get through to an answer phone message saying they will ring you back, still waiting for the return phone call now and our holiday finished yesterday. Had to givie it a challenge rating of 10 as the hardest challenge is getting through to speak to someone
