Felt this gave a really good, challenging round of golf. Normally playing in February means wet boggy fairways and muddy shoes and clubs, however this was not the case. The course is well maintained with work continually being done to give the best possible conditions. The lakes on several of the holes give a good challenge( I'm sure there is a golf ball magnet in the centre of them) and accuracy is important, there tends to be trouble to the right of most fairways. Not the longest 18 holes but very enjoyable and when 2 for 1 (£15 pp) in the winter a real bargain. Full price in the summer is a bit steep though.

I paid £10 with Tee Off times but think this rate end very soon. This course is proof that length isn't everything. There are some excellent holes and two or three unusual ones where a previous round would have been of great help. My favourites were 2,3,7 & 14. 18 would have been good from the whites (70 yards behind the yellows). You will not need to hit many long irons here and the par 3's are mostly rather weak but scoring is not easy. The greens were very true and surprisingly fast though with relatively little borrow. I would certainly enjoy another round though I suspect I shall need to wait until after the summer season to obtain so good a deal

Having been a member 3 years ago I would say this is probably the best course I have played in the West kent area. It’s a tough challenge and many hazards are well placed. You really do have to think about what your doing on this course. I wouldn’t say that there are any signature holes as so many of them are beautiful and the views are outstanding. The 16th is my favourite. A little gem of a par 3, though not particularly difficult to play. It is pricey and I stopped being a member when they decided to hike up prices and the atmosphere changed to being very upper market. This was a while ago and it may be different now! That is just my opinion but I feel it has gone from being a very great golf club for ordinary people to one that focuses to the upper end of the price market. Of course, the course and facilities are fantastic, but would you pay to keep a gym going on the complex if all you wanted to do was play golf? No members were ever asked about the addition of the gym, hence the reason for large membership fees and a decline in memberships at the club. Still a cracking club but far too expensive when there are so many other choices in the area.

Really enjoyed this course - very interesting holes of differing degrees of difficulty - tricky greens, fantastic views - only spoilt by the attitude of 2 or 3 staff members.

It seemed like a very new course to me even though it wasn't. Fairways were not bad given time of year but the tee beds were awful. Nice use of water features and bunkers but too many boring holes for me. We got a cheap rate but if u had to pay the full rate here I would feel ripped off.

Extremely good course. Set in gorgeous surroundings. The course is well kept and the greens are responsive. Brilliant use of the water. I have played several times both in summer and winter and the course can be very wet but always kept in good condition.

Certainly susceptible to waterlogging, but a really good course. Lots of excellent water holes, including one where there is water lining both sides of the fairway at 200yds plus from the tee, then more water to get over with your approach shot. Set in beautiful Kent countryside with far-off views.
