Reasonably priced for a mid week late afternoon/evening round for London suburbs. However this comes with some downsides in terms of number of players that seem to be roaming around the course, especially given the overlapping holes very early in the rounds and then the tight fairways in the following holes. The scorecard actually highlights the postcode of the course in big red letters "in case of emergencies" which I think says quite a lot ! However my overwhelming memory, as highlighted by others, was the feeling you were playing up and down the same valley. It made the short layout feel more tiring and it got a little mundane. However everything seems nicely kept which is some compensation for the inherent course weaknesses of being on a very tight site with distinctive terrain.

Calm down bro! Its a nice course, short but tight. Very good greens, well kept general condition of the course. However, too many of the holes go down then up the valley in a straight line, plus having the only 2 par 5s on holes 5 and 6 annoys me a little bit (still cant get anywhere near the second one in 2 shots). It feels pretty quiet for its location in north london suburbia, and its def, worth a visit. Not sure if they still do 241, but twilight times are very generous, I have always finished my round after work. Warning: dont get on the wrong side of the green on 'easy' hole 13 unless you want to try massive banana putts.

Fantastic. The best greens I've played in London, fast , subtle and receptive (make sure you go on the practice green!). Most of the holes are non-brainers but that doesn't mean easy. The back 9 feels a bit of a slog, but 18 is a Gem. Superb value with 241 vouchers

A nice enough course, but not terribly impressive. Short and quite easy the course is enjoyable without being overly taxing. Greens are in nice condition, although we played after heavy rain and the course seemed to be holding quite a bit of water. This was probably understandable given the weather. Friendly club house, and a nice spot for a drink after the round

Very interesting course. Not long with only 2 par 5's, but some challenging holes nonetheless. The start of the course is quite tight, with the 2nd and 5th holes sharing a tee box, and the 2nd playing across the 4th fairway! However once you're past the 6th, the course opens out nicely and the mature layout really comes into it's own. It's exceptionally quiet for a London course, with little road or aircraft noise. Memorable holes are the long par 4 12 which requires a long accurate tee shot to a narrow fairway, and the long par 3 18th over water up to the manor house. Many of the holes play back and forth across a valley which makes the holes look longer than they actually are. A very pleasant round.

This is without a doubt the best North London course I have ever played. The greens are superb, fast in the summer, but play wellthroughout the year. Although being short, this is a very challenging course of great character that will test golfers of a wide range of handicaps! As well as a superb course the 19th offers warm hospitality with a good choice of food/snacks and drink.

It is a superbe and challenging course, never boring and really relaxing. However before starting on it make sure you're got 10 spare balls and that your heart can sustain the peace of a course where it looks like you are always climbing up, and never down.
