Played this today, greens are second to none, layout is good considering its not the biggest of courses. Some excellent holes, some panoramic holes, a couple of novelty holes and a couple of pitch n putt par 3's. Loved it, the weather was fantastic tho and i imagine a bit of wind would have made it difficult for any level of golfer. Bring your own buggy/electric trolley or oxygen though as it makes heaton park seem like a snooker table.......oh my aching bones.......
A nicely laid out course, which is friendly and well looked after. The biggest problem I found was that the whole course is built into the side of a huge hill, meaning local knowledge is more important than skill in getting a low score. The green fee is more than reasonable, but one or two of the par 3's are a little short or my liking. All in all, not a bad course but there are a number of better courses within a short distance.
