Fantastic value for money. Only £15 for a weekday visitor (£10 on Thursday). It seems all the money is spent on maintaining the course. With well trimmed fairways, soft light sand in the bunkers and excellent greens. A challenging course for a amateur, but managed to get round with a respectable score. Clubhouse is basic but still has a bar and seating area. There are pro training facilities but no shop. Also cash only - I wanted to pay on card but was advised by the Lady behind the bar (where you also pay for a round) that I had to go into the local town (2 miles away) to go to the cash point.
Played here 25/6/13. First time I played here was mid to late 70's when it was 9 holes, a small wooden shed/pavilion and a 'honesty' box for fee. The club has certainly moved on since then. Now 18 holes very well looked after. Under 6000 yards but not a push over. Nice club house with friendly staff and members.
