I have just returned from a great weekend of golf at Overstone Park that was truly the best gold trip I have had so far! They staff were friendly and down to earth, the members were friendly and welcoming and we managed to get our second round completed in very good time with little to know pressure from the holes behind. It's a brilliant location a great course and very good value for money!

Just returned from a two night-three round break here with a small group of guys of varying handicaps and ages, but 95% over 60 years of age. This is an ideal society course, tough enough for low H’capper but forgiving enough for less able players, nice and easy walking in some very pleasant countryside. The course was in good condition, some very interesting greens, a little slow and firm, we found it took a second round to really get to grip with club selection especially on the par threes; in general an extra club was needed from the indicated yardage. 150/200 markers were there but as so often these days were tucked away behind trees, directions off the greens to the next tee wasn’t too bad, but room for some improvement. Our only real complaint was the bunkers; they appeared to be maintained by “ride on” raking machines, this means they just get firmer by the day, there is plenty of sand there, it just has this hard crust on the surface which makes getting a sand iron to splash a ball out difficult. The club house shares its facility’s with a gym and fitness suite together with a pool. The food was good, the staff friendly, the accommodation was a little basic but adequate for two nights, but overall good value. All our members agreed we would return again.

Newish rolling parkland course with nice variety. Some generous fairways to 'let rip' with the driver, as well as some shorter par 4's that require some thought. 2 spectacular par 3's over water including the 'signature' 17th hole. + some magnificent par 5's. Club house with balcony bar overlooking the course and Gym/Pool facities. Definately recommended
