Played this course Saturday 7th march and was generally in good condition. Not the hardest or longest course but requires thought on a lot of holes. Greens weren't in particularly great shape and there appeared to be a lot of drainage work on the go. 10th hole was on winter green which I would be suprised if it is back on the main green come the summer. Nice little course, worth a visit. Tee times only 6 mins apart so expect congestion at weekends
Played the course on 28/08/02. Since the last time it has improved greatly. The GUR that was prevailent the last time has gone and it was in a much better state.
Played the course on 02 May 2002. It was in a pretty poor state considering how far into the season. If the fairways weren't threadbare the grass was too long. The greens were in a poor state and looked like they'd suffered from a really harsh winter, which we haven't had? Also, it seemed like about 10% of the course was GUR. I don't know what has happened to the course butit's a shame 'coz it is in a nice location, if a bit short (we (2) did it in 2hrs45mins). For £15 green fees in the North East I'd expect something better.
